The Novartis Biome Inauguration experience was a hands-on, community-building activation where participants connected with a meaningful cause. In partnership with Centraide Montreal, guests assembled care packages with baby essentials and children's literacy kits, writing personal notes of support for local families. The experience culminated in a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new space, framing the corporate milestone as a celebration rooted in a collective act of giving back.
Created in collaboration with Montréal-based artist Tina Marais, a suspended textile installation served as the centerpiece for the inauguration of the Novartis BIOME space. In a move away from a traditional ribbon-cutting, the sculpture was activated when key leadership and government partners connected its central components, symbolizing the forging of new partnerships. The artwork became a living installation, as guests were invited to connect the remaining textiles, co-creating a permanent and collaborative symbol of a community woven together.
